He was born in New York City, grew up in Japan, went to boarding school in Switzerland and university in California.
Andy has a BA and MA in International Relations and was going to be a diplomat until he discovered that diplomats can't say what they REALLY think, so he became a stand-up comedian instead.

As a voice-over actor in video games he has done character voices for Star Trek, SONY Playstation, Lucas Arts and others.

His corporate clients include Siemens, Mercedes Benz, Disney, Victorinox, Glencore, Fujitsu, McDonalds and Bayer to name a few.

He has performed stand-up all over the world in places as Sydney Australia’s Comedy Store, the Cologne International Comedy Festival as well as clubs and colleges all over Europe and the US.

Andy currently lives in Cologne.

I had the pleasure to welcome Mr. Andy Valvur at our annual Deutsche Telekom Group Security Conference 2015, which is the greatest international gathering of security directors and managers from all around the DT world. Andy’s excellent stand-up comedy performance and bright and spot-on humor set a perfect scene for the event’s transition into the social and networking part and based on the participants’ feedback, it has been also recognized as one of the conference highlights. Andy is truly a big professional and I can fully recommend him for any similar event." Radek Havlis, Deutsche Telekom AG, Vice President Security Cooperation
